Are you a professional working in government, parliament, oversight bodies, civil society or related sectors in Indonesia? The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, through Australia Awards in Indonesia, invites applications for the Australia Awards Short Course on Promoting Leadership for Transparency and Accountability in the Public Sectors.
This short course aims to strengthen leadership capacity among public officials and emerging leaders to promote integrity, transparency and accountability in governance: reducing corruption risks, improving public trust and supporting sustainable development. Participants will benchmark Australian strategies in public sector integrity reform, Open Parliament initiatives, stakeholder collaboration and international best practices on transparency and anti-corruption.
The course consists of a three-day Pre-Course Workshop, a two-week course in Australia, and a three-day Post-Course Workshop. Delivered by leading experts, the course includes workshops, case studies, panel discussions, simulations, site visits and networking opportunities with relevant Australian organisations. Participants will also develop an Award Project to support reform efforts in their institutions.
