Are you a professional working in financial regulation, public policy, social security, or related sectors? The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, through Australia Awards in Indonesia, invites applications for the Australia Awards Short Course on ‘Mobilising Long-Term Capital through Insurance and Pension Reform in Indonesia’.
This short course aims to strengthen participants’ capacity to support ongoing reforms in Indonesia’s insurance and pension sectors under UU P2SK. Participants will explore key policy priorities, including long-term capital mobilisation, pension fund investment strategies, governance frameworks and policyholder protection. The course also highlights inclusive approaches, such as expanding coverage for informal workers and integrating GEDSI considerations to enhance long-term financial resilience.
Participants will gain practical insights through case studies, peer learning and engagement with Australian and regional experts. The course also offers opportunities to build professional networks and develop an Award Project to apply learning in their respective institutions.
This fully funded course consists of a three-day Pre-Course Workshop in Indonesia, a two-week course in Australia, and a three-day Post-Course Workshop in Indonesia.
