DeFi, Cryptocurrency and the Future of Finance

The future of finance is upon us! With rapid digital acceleration in the finance sector, we are experiencing a revolution with the emergence of decentralised finance (DeFi), crypto-currencies, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Decentralised Autonomous Organisations (DAOs). As a final part of the Thought Leadership Series, this talk will also discuss the DeFi, which is a blockchain-based form of finance. DeFi applications (dapps) aim to recreate traditional financial systems, such as banks and exchanges, with cryptocurrency and utilising smart contracts on blockchains.
