Join Our Lecture on ‘Understanding Mental Health: Building Awareness and Resilience’

As mental health gains recognition as a key foundation of individual and societal wellbeing, how can we better understand its impact and strengthen our resilience during times of change? Join us for an insightful online lecture, ‘Understanding Mental Health: Building Awareness and Resilience’, by Professor Deborah Turnbull from Adelaide University, on Friday, 13 June 2025, from 1:45pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).

While both Indonesia and Australia recognise the importance of human capital development, mental health remains critical in supporting personal fulfilment and community progress. Professor Deborah Turnbull, Chair of Psychology at Adelaide University and a leading figure in health and clinical psychology, will guide participants through key topics such as emotional literacy and evidence-based approaches to supporting others. Drawing from her research in developing online mental health tools, she will also share practical strategies for building resilience, especially during personal and organisational change.

This lecture is open to the public, with graduates and scholars of Australian tertiary institutions from Indonesia especially encouraged to participate. Please RSVP via this link by Wednesday, 11 June, to confirm attendance. Attendees will receive an e-certificate in recognition of their participation.
