Are you ready to deepen your expertise in international trade and shape Indonesia’s role in the global economy? Applications are now open for the Australia Awards Short Course on International Trade Policy.

This short course consists of workshops in Indonesia and a two-week course in Australia. The course is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge of current contemporary global trade challenges. Topics include tariff policy, services and investment, digital trade, green trade, state-owned enterprises and other contemporary trade issues.

The course is aimed at Indonesian government officials from ministries involved in trade and economic issues, including those working on negotiations, policy development, and implementation. It will strengthen their abilities to advocate, negotiate, and put into action trade policies, especially in international forums.

Through hands-on sessions and the development of an Award Project, participants will sharpen their analytical, negotiation and policy-advocacy skills, building the capacity needed to represent Indonesia effectively in international forums and strengthen domestic trade policy settings.
