Amazing Race 2026: Strengthening Australia–Indonesia Connections in Sydney

The Australia-Indonesia Amazing Race 2026 brought Sydney’s CBD to life, as Australia Awards in Indonesia connected scholars, Indonesian students, New Colombo Plan (NCP), Australian Volunteers Program (AVP) and members of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) and Acicis alumni through a dynamic, city-wide challenge.

Starting and finishing off at Hyde Park, mixed teams solved clues, explored the area and built cross-cultural understanding in a fun, fast-paced setting. More than just a race, the activity strengthened leadership skills and lasting networks that support people-to-people links between Australia and Indonesia.
