How can visual and interactive tools transform the way we teach and learn in a blended environment? Join us for the online guest lecture, ‘From Screens to Skills: Boosting Blended Learning with Visual and Interactive Tools’, delivered by Dr Mahmud Al Masum from Adelaide University, on Friday, 18 July 2025, from 1:45pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).
This lecture will explore creative ways to use technology in teaching to make learning more engaging and enjoyable for students. It will discuss a range of practical activities—such as short animated videos to explain core ideas, video modules broken into smaller, more manageable segments with quizzes, and interactive tools used in live sessions to encourage participation.
Tools like Mentimeter and Padlet will be explored for use in both in-person and online tutorials, helping students apply what they have learned and think more deeply about the material. The lecture will also share student feedback gathered through surveys and focus group discussions, highlighting how these tech-based approaches enhanced their learning experience.
