Are you keen to learn lessons from the Australian cattle industry and how systems are managed when working with different cattle types and geography? Join our online lecture on 18 February at 2 PM Jakarta time, and get insights from Dr Amy Tait on how to adopt the system to other situations where humans and cattle interact.
Dr Tait, a research fellow at the School of Environmental and Rural Science, the University of New England, says it is essential to learn from cattle so that people can remain safe, and there is also less stress on the animal. Understanding the science behind how cattle function and behave allows people to work more cooperatively with the cattle in their care. Dr Tait will also give an insight into how researchers collect data on cattle behaviour and how that information can help in commercial settings such as feedlots.
The e-certificate for participation is available. If you are interested in attending this event, please register yourself by 17 February at this link. Click here to get more information about the lecture and Dr Amy Tait.
