Are you a policymaker or government official from Aceh and Eastern Indonesia keen to enhance governance and public policy-making? Apply now for the Australia Awards Short Course on Governance and Public Policy Making for Subnational Governments (Aceh and Eastern Indonesia), delivered by Australia Awards in Indonesia in collaboration with the Australia-Indonesia Partnership Program for Basic Service Delivery Acceleration (SKALA).

This two-week intensive course in Australia, complemented by pre-course and post-course workshops in Indonesia, is designed to strengthen subnational governments’ capacity in public policy, digitisation and government administration in Eastern Indonesia.

Participants will gain insights from global best practices, build networks with peers, and contribute to fostering more effective and inclusive governance. Additionally, they will acquire tools to better serve vulnerable groups, including women and people with disability, and play a vital role in reducing poverty and inequality in the region.
