Capacity building to empower women-entrepreneurs during COVID-19

Project Rationale:
As community builders, we want to speed up economic growth after COVID-19. In line with the government's priority programs, Kumpul creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to improve their skills and strengthen their business processes to create sustainable businesses through capacity building: classes, workshops, mentoring sessions and business matching.
Why is this project important? Because a creative economy through online means is the only option to keep the state economic running during this crisis. Why? Because traditional ways of business are no longer a good option due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia. People are safer at home and doing business from home. But in reality not many business owners (especially small/ micro scale business) are equipped with technology-related skills such as; digital marketing, social media strategy, on-boarding to e-commerce etc.
Why is this project even more important? Because women are the backbone of the family economy. We want to be there for other women who run small businesses but can no longer earn money to support their families.
Kumpul is taking part to help our country recover its economy. It is undeniable that small businesses (UKM) are most affected by the pandemic. Business owners require the fastest and most practical help. Kumpul tries to contribute to community development because that is our core value since 2016 - to help entrepreneurs all over Indonesia get the same access to knowledge, access to finance and access to scaling up their businesses.
Project Beneficiaries:
- 150 female entrepreneurs who are affected by COVID-19 and want their business to survive – to attend webinar and masterclass (workshop style)
- 20 selected entrepreneurs to attend one-on-one in-depth mentoring sessions and business matching
