Ubud Writers & Readers Festival 2021

Don’t miss the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival (UWRF) that runs until 17 October 2021!

Inspired by the Hindu-Balinese philosophy, this year's theme is 'Mulat Sarira' or 'Self Reflection' and will explore self-reflection, cultural introspection, and human rights.

The Australian Government is proud to be supporting UWRF, now in its 18th year – and celebrating emerging and established national and international writers, artists, and activists, including from Australia.

This year, UWRF Perth will also be launched, a UWRF partnership with Writing WA, including a special event program live-streamed to allow interaction in real-time with live audiences in Perth, Bali, and across the world.
