“A wild walk-in virtual woodlands” by CSIRO

Imagine you stroll through in the middle of grassy woodland and hear the sounds as foliage sways in the breeze. But strangely, you’re able to wander through all seasons!

Australian researchers can take a walk on the wild side through a new virtual reality tool to better study endangered ecosystems – thanks to a team of immersive visualisation researchers from Monash University who have created virtual renditions of an endangered Australian woodland ecosystem – the Australian Box Gum Grassy Woodland.
