How can digital models and intelligent data shape the future of smart cities?
Join us for the Smart Cities Joint Panel Discussion and Networking Reception at The Westin Jakarta on Monday, 29 September 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm (Jakarta time).
This panel brings together Associate Professors Julie Miao and Jagannath Aryal from The University of Melbourne, Associate Professors Ova Candra Dewi and Ahmad Gamal from Universitas Indonesia, and Tiarma Simanungkalit and Nugroho Adi Putranto from Agung Sedayu Group, to explore critical issues in urban feature extraction, accurate inventory preparation and robust solutions for smart city development. Through case studies on building footprints and disaster resilience, the discussion will highlight pathways toward future smart cities and more sustainable, resilient urban planning practices.
The session will be followed by a networking reception, offering participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, connect with peers and build collaborations around smart city innovations.
