Unforgettable Night in Sanur: PDT Closing Dinner Showcases Culture, Talent, and Unity
It was an unforgettable evening in Sanur on 15 November 2024 as we gathered hundreds of Australia Awards and Australia for ASEAN scholars undertaking the Pre-Departure Training (PDT) at the Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Campus, Denpasar Bali.
The evening began with inspiring opening remarks by Ms Wahyu Mukti Kusumaningtias, Deputy Program Director for Inclusion and Outcomes at the Australia Awards in Indonesia. Her address set the tone for a dynamic event filled with networking opportunities and vibrant cultural performances.
The Pre-Departure Training (PDT), designed to enhance academic and professional skills, concluded with a lively performance by the scholars, symbolising their readiness for the exciting journey ahead. Participants showcased their talents through captivating musical acts, drama, dance, choir performances, and solo singing, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Scholars also enjoyed a delightful dinner, engaging in lively conversations that enriched the evening.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere motivated the scholars as they prepared for their educational experiences in Australia. Connections made during the event are sure to foster valuable relationships that will support their academic aspirations and personal growth.
We look forward to reconnecting at future gatherings and wish all scholars the very best as they begin this exciting chapter!
