On 23 April 2025, Australian alumni in Ambon gathered for an evening of reconnection and celebration at the Alumni Networking Dinner. The event emphasised alumni’s pivotal role in strengthening Australia-Indonesia relations through shared experiences, education, and professional collaboration.
In her remarks, Australia’s Chargé d’Affaires to Indonesia, Ms Gita Kamath, highlighted the impact of alumni and the importance of regional engagement in Ambon. ‘Alumni are key to the Australia–Indonesia partnership. This gathering in Ambon celebrates shared experiences and strengthens our enduring ties,” said Ms Gita.
Over delicious food and engaging conversations, the evening offered a meaningful opportunity for alumni to connect, exchange ideas, and explore future collaborations. The night concluded with a group photo, capturing the spirit of community and the enduring bonds between Australia and Indonesia.
