Join Our Lecture on ‘From Challenges to Solutions: What Australia Can Teach Us About Implementing Electronic Health Records’

What can Indonesia learn from Australia's journey to digital health? Join us for an eye-opening online guest lecture, ‘From Challenges to Solutions: What Australia Can Teach Us About Implementing Electronic Health Records’, delivered by A/Prof. Amina Tariq from Queensland University of Technology, on Friday, 1 August 2025, from 1:45pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).

In this interactive session, A/Prof. Tariq will unpack the opportunities and challenges of transitioning from paper-based to Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Drawing from real-world experiences in Australia, she will explore how EHRs can improve patient care, reduce prescription errors, and enhance healthcare efficiency. The lecture will also address key barriers such as inconsistent data formats, security concerns, and system usability.

Participants will gain insights into the socio-technical challenges of implementing EHRs at scale and the importance of strong digital health leadership—especially relevant for countries like Indonesia undergoing major health system reforms.

Indonesian graduates and scholars of Australian tertiary institutions are especially encouraged to attend. Please RSVP via this link by Wednesday, 30 July. Spaces are limited—register early to secure your spot! Attendees will receive an e-certificate for their participation.
