Happy to see all our course participants feeling excited to implement their knowledge at their workplaces! Last Sunday, the group of the Australia Awards Short Course participants on Climate Finance returned to Indonesia after studying in Australia. They are professionals, representatives of government agencies, and researchers who have learned the latest innovations and future directions in climate finance. The participants visited campuses and institutions in Brisbane, Canberra and Sydney during the two-week course delivered by Griffith University. The group also shared experiences and learned best practices on policies and initiatives to strengthen climate finance to fund mitigation and adaptation activities.
The participants also attended a lecture by H.E. Dr Siswo Pramono, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Australia and the Republic of Vanuatu. The talk explored the energy transition cooperation between Indonesia and Australia and how both countries can optimise opportunities under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Congratulations on finishing the course, and best wishes for your next adventure!
