Are you an emerging/existing leader from the Government of Indonesia agency keen to learn more about using data to improve policies and public services? Apply now for the Australia Awards Short Course on Governing in the Digital Age (The Use of Data for Better Policies and Public Services)!
The course aims to strengthen the capacity of government (both national and local government) in producing, analysing, and using data to inform policy decisions. It will provide examples, strategies and tools that have been used by international, Indonesian and Australian agencies in using big data for policymaking and implementation.
The course is offered to 25 participants, targeted at Indonesian government staff or middle managers with a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant role. Targeted agencies include KOMINFO, Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), Subnational Governments (Provincial and District level), and Indonesian Government research institutions.

An information session will be held virtually by Australia Awards in Indonesia on 4 November 2022 at 3 pm WIB. This session aims to guide applicants on the application procedures, including the online application system, selection scheme and interview process.
