Australia Awards Post-Course Workshop on Climate Finance

Happy to see our Short Course participants exchanging ideas and initiatives at the recent Australia Awards post-course workshop on Climate Finance in Jakarta. The workshop was attended by 23 professionals, representatives of government agencies, and researchers who have learned the latest innovations and future directions in climate finance. At the event, they shared their Award Projects detailing creative ideas on supporting Indonesia’s green economy transition and received the certificate of completion – officially became Australia Awards alumni.

The group previously went to Australia in September and participated in a two-week Climate Finance Short Course run by Griffith University. They explored and compared the latest policies and initiatives to marshal and attract climate finance from innovative funding sources to support Indonesia’s climate and development objectives. They also shared case studies on navigating the path to net zero under the Australia-Indonesia Joint Statement on Cooperation on the Green Economy and Energy Transition.

Congratulations to all the remarkable alumni!
