Strengthening Alumni Connections Over Eid Celebrations
The Australian Embassy in Indonesia hosted a Halal Bihalal (Open House), a post-Eid gathering, for Australian alumni at the Wollemi Function Centre, bringing together distinguished Australian alumni from diverse professional and academic backgrounds, including the Vice Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Prof. Atip Latipulhayat. The event provided a meaningful space to reconnect, expand networks and celebrate the enduring ties between Australia and Indonesia.
The gathering highlighted the strength and diversity of our alumni community, who continue to contribute as leaders and changemakers. Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Rod Brazier, emphasised the important role alumni play in strengthening mutual understanding and the Australia-Indonesia partnership.
Events like this reflect Australia’s continued commitment to supporting its alumni community and strengthening people-to-people links.
