In celebration of three key global observances in December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, and Human Rights Day, and the GEDSI Alumni Network is organizing a reflective half-day knowledge-sharing panel that brings together voices from government and civil society to strengthen GEDSI across Indonesia. The session will share real experiences and practical insights on promoting human rights for vulnerable groups, focusing on tackling structural injustice, advancing disability-inclusive leadership, and building stronger accountability and community action for change. |

Professional Development Activity in December (Hybrid: Online & in Jakarta) |
GEDSI views human rights as inherent to all individuals, regardless of their identity or circumstances. This means that everyone is entitled to certain fundamental rights, including the rights to equality, non-discrimination, and participation in society. This activity aims to share best practices that will promote active participation and equal roles for all community members, ensuring access to information, protection, and services, especially for vulnerable groups such as women from disadvantaged backgrounds, persons with disability, children, and the elderly. |
