A Night to Remember: Yogyakarta Dinner Sparks Fresh Connections Among Australian Alumni

The Australian Alumni Networking Dinner in Yogyakarta recently brought together an inspiring group of alumni for an evening of connection, culture, and celebration.

Students from SMAN 3 Yogyakarta and local artist Lastarya lit up the stage with vibrant performances at Tentrem Hotel. Alumni enjoyed a lively evening of music, great food, and meaningful conversations, strengthening bonds and building new networks across our alumni community.

Maria Vika Wirasti, one of the alumni, expressed his excitement at being part of the event: ‘Attending my first Australian Alumni Dinner was such a delightful experience. The evening offered a wonderful opportunity to network with many fellow alumni, and it was truly an honour to meet HE Roderick Brazier, Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, in person. The warm atmosphere, captivating performances, and the venue's excellent hospitality made the night even more special. I sincerely hope this event will be held regularly and I would be more than happy to join again!’

Another alumnus, Fuad Fudiyartanto, shared his enthusiasm about joining the event: ‘The networking dinner was not only well-organised but also thoughtfully curated.
