Australian alumni gathered in Semarang for an evening of networking, reconnection, and fresh inspiration at the Australian Alumni Networking Dinner.
Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, HE Roderick Brazier, opened the night with his remarks, setting the tone for meaningful conversations, shared memories, and new connections. The event was also attended by Indonesia’s Ambassador to Australia and Vanuatu, HE Dr Siswo Pramono, who joined the alumni in celebrating the strong educational ties between Indonesia and Australia. From a lively photo booth to mingling over food and drinks, alumni enjoyed the relaxed setting as they celebrated their journeys and the ties that bind our vibrant community.
Nadia Farabi, one of the alumni, expressed her delight in being part of the dinner: ‘It was great to reconnect with old friends and expand my network at the Australian Alumni Networking Dinner in Semarang. The evening provided an excellent opportunity to exchange contacts and explore potential collaborations moving forward.’
Another alumnus, Muhammad Irsyad, also reflected on the joy of reconnecting at the dinner: ‘Attending the networking event was a truly rewarding experience for me. The atmosphere was genuine, and the vibe was warm and inclusive. The evening featured engaging discussions and valuable updates, highlighted by the presence of Australia’s Ambassador to Indonesia, HE Roderick Brazier, together with several Australian government representatives. I felt a strong sense of connection and pride in being part of such a vibrant alumni community.’
