Join Our Lecture on ‘Biostatistics in the Age of Big Data: Ensuring Quality in a World of Complexity’

As the world enters the era of big data, the volume and complexity of biological information are growing faster than ever. But how can we ensure data quality amid this explosion of information and unlock its full potential for health research?

Join us for an insightful online guest lecture, ‘Biostatistics in the Age of Big Data: Ensuring Quality in a World of Complexity,’ delivered by Associate Professor Agus Salim from The University of Melbourne, on Friday, 14 November 2025, from 1:45pm to 4:00pm (Jakarta time).

In this session, A/Prof. Salim will explore how biostatistical modelling enhances data quality and enables meaningful biological discoveries. Drawing from examples in the omics field, he will demonstrate how integrating advanced computational approaches, including foundational and large language models, can transform disease diagnosis and prognosis.

Indonesian graduates and scholars of Australian tertiary institutions are especially encouraged to attend. Please RSVP via this link by Wednesday, 12 November 2025. Due to limited places, early registration is recommended. Attendees will receive an e-certificate of participation.
