Project Rationale:

The Sumberwangi forest-based community consists of 25 households that live around the Arjuna forest. They do not own the land; they only work as farmers planting coffee in the forest as their main income. The farmers have to purchase fertilisers periodically for improving soil quality and coffee production. Therefore, farmers are burdened with the cost of fertiliser purchase. It may be worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has decreased coffee sales, especially in cafes and shops, which in turn reduces the coffee demand at the farmers' level.

Besides this, the housing that the community lives in is non-permanent (because they do not own the land) and lacks electricity. On the other hand, the forest area blessed with green grass, which is potentially used as cattle feed.
